Sports Day Returns!

Students were buzzing with excitement for the return of Sports Day this year with the last sports day being held way back in 2019! 

The 5 houses were ready to battle it out for the ultimate win. Students participating in the traditional events headed up to Whitehall Athletics Track in the morning to compete, with the rest of the students following after completing house competitions at school. After a day of enjoyment, sunshine and house spirit, the results were as follows….

Sports Day School Record Holders

A big congratulations to the following students who broke school records in their events:

  • Elsa broke the Year 7 1500m record with a time of 5:47 min

  • The Year 7 Curie Relay team broke the 4 x 100m school record with a time of 1:05 min

  • Ysabel broke the Year 9 school record for Javelin, with a throw of 18.41m

A special mention must go out to Sasha who competed in the Non-Traditional Hula Hoop event and had to be stopped at 1-hour 17minutes of continuous hula hooping - fantastic effort!
