Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) to start 1^st September 2022.  Our working hours are 8am to 4pm but our approach to hybrid working means that we can discuss different options with you to support sustainable work-life balance. Part-time and job share arrangements will also be considered.

If you have experience in HR, finance, health and safety and people management and would enjoy a varied role working closely with a supportive leadership team at Montpelier High School, an exciting opportunity is available to you as School Business Manager.  You must be self-motivated, highly organised and committed.  Training will be provided to further enhance your development.

What the role involves:

• Taking the lead in finance, human resources, premises management and data protection working closely with the Trust Central Services Team.  
• Managing health and safety, compliance and administration
• Working directly with the Principal to manage budgets and procurement
• Managing the operation of the business functions of the school
• Advising and implementing day-to-day support to all the SLT to promote efficiency

Candidates for this post should have:

• Higher level education to include English Language and Maths (or equivalent)
• Experience of working within defined budgets
• Experience of managing and leading admin teams
• Ability to use initiative, prioritise and meet deadlines
