SCHOOL COUNSELLOR

Permanent, part-time (5 hours per week), term-time only, to start as soon as possible

Venturers Trust is a dynamic and focused multi-academy trust based in Bristol, formed in September 2017 through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust.

Venturers Trust is currently recruiting for a School Counsellor to join the team at Montpellier High School. We are looking for a professional with a passion for transforming our student’s learning. You will provide personal counselling services for students to include therapeutic, developmental and preventative work based on individual needs.

You will be working closely with our Pastoral Team to identify referrals appropriate for counselling interventions and also provide general information and advice to students in respect of health. You will work with the Pastoral Team and other teaching and learning staff to support individual students who may face personal problems or suffer from mental health problems. We are looking for a counsellor experienced in providing support to young people.
