Johnson House

Johnson’s House inspiration and identity comes from Amy Johnson (1903-1941), an inspiring female pilot. Amy Johnson proved that women can do anything they put their minds to and qualified as the first British trained female ground engineer – the only woman to do so in the world at that time. She was also the first female pilot to fly solo from the UK to Australia – a real trailblazer!

Johnson House colour is Ruby and is signified by a lapel badge which students are expected to wear at all times on their blazer.

JOHNSON HOUSE VALUES

Johnson House's set of values are

  • Belonging – everyone is part of our House
  • Striving to be our best – we try our best and don’t fear challenges
  • Independence and proactivity – we take responsibility for our actions
