Extra - Curricular

ENRICHMENT:

Every Wednesday afternoon all students will take part in a wide range of engaging enrichment activities. Our students are able to select their own enrichments from around 40 different choices, enabling them to develop their own curriculum.

The activities on offer include:

  • British Sign Language
  • Chemistry Club
  • Dance
  • Creative writing
  • Young Enterprise

The activities are provided by staff who are eager to share other skills and passions that often lie outside their subject area.

We believe that these enriching experiences give our students additional, wide ranging skills that support employability. It offers our students the chance to make new friends and to develop their confidence and self-esteem.

These activities have also been chosen and designed to foster, develop and enhance our school’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Curiosity which we believe are essential for student’s well-being and life-long learning.

You can also find information about the current extra-curricular & after school clubs below (last added March 2024). Students can find out further information about any clubs from their tutor or the club leader.
